In "Present Continuous tenses" we use only.
" Is , Am , Are " &
1st form of verb with "ing"
Formula of Present Continuous Tense :-
Subject + V1+Ing+Object
for example :- Play+ing = Playing or Eat+ing = Eating etc.
Thus, Rules to "Present Continuous Tense" is just 4 easy steps.
Step 1
- Start with Subject (Name of Person , Place , or anything)
- Use "Is, Am, or Are" after the Subject.
- Apply 1st form of Verb with "ing"
Play Ing = Playing
Run Ing = Running
Sleep Ing = Sleeping

Athletes are Running
Baby is Sleeping etc.
Step 4
- "Add Object" at the end of the Sentence.
Let's understand adding object with examples,
